James Willett Wayman married Virginia Robertson, daughter of William M. and Elizabeth Mary Sewell Robertson. According to the 1900 and 1910 Censuses, James and Virginia had seven children. Sadly, only three grew to adulthood due to cholera, and a GSW. Their children are linked below.

Mr. and Mrs James and Virginia Robertson Wayman lost a 9-month-old son, a 10-month-old daughter, a 3-year-old son, and a 10-year-old son. Their three remaining children lived to adulthood and died at 41, 80, and 87.

Mr. Wayman is either sleeping at Row 11 Section C or in Section T Lot 11 Plot 1. A wonderful Fairview Cemetery Administrator, James Phillips, told me the Cemetery board believes he is in the old part of Fairview, on the east side of High Street.

James Willett Wayman had a sister who died very young. I am looking for her exact burial location. We strongly suspect she is in the Martinsburg Cemetery but that the marker has gone underground. If you have any information, would you please contact me? This is important to me. Thank you.
