Sister Mary Florian Berberich, ASC, 86, of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Ruma Center, Ill., born Oct. 18,1921, in St. Sebastian, Ill., died at 9:30 am, Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at the community's center in Ruma, Ill.
Sr. Berberich made her first vows as an Adorer of the Blood of Christ on July 1, 1945, and perpetual profession on July 1, 1950.
Sister Florian ministered in domestic services in community owned or sponsored institutions: Loretto Home in Alton, Ill., from 1945 to1949, St. Teresa Academy in East St. Louis, Ill., from 1949 to 1952, St. Anne's Home in Chester, Ill., from 1961 to 1966, the Ruma Center, from 1969 to 1980, and Clementine Residence in Red Bud, Ill., from 1980 to 1990.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Estella, nee Brumleve, Berberich; and one brother, Ralph Berberich.
Surviving are her sisters, Eloise Berberich, Flora Belle Bales, Pat Naas and Mary Hayden; her brothers, Elmer, Frank, Charles, Joe and Paul Berberich; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may call for the wake service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at Ruma Center Chapel, Ruma, Ill.

Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at Ruma Center Chapel, Ruma, Ill., with Fr. Clyde Grogan officiating with reflections given by Sr. Jan Renz, ASC. Interment will be in the Convent Cemetery, Ruma, Ill.
