According to the Polish Texans website and the marriage records of St. Joseph Catholic Church in New Waverly, Walker Co., Texas, USA:

John Joseph Krystyniak was born Feb. 8, 1876 in Zasouie, Galicia, Austria-Poland to Maciej "Mathias" Krystyniak and Eva Fluder Krystyniak.

He was baptized in 1876 in Gallicia.

He married Anna Gubas (b. May 1878, d. 8-28-1900) on Nov. 24, 1897 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, New Waverly. Witnesses were John Belinowski and Bertha Grzegorek, and the Rev. Bronislava F. Walter performed the ceremony.

Anna gave birth to their only child, Helen, on 8-21-1900, and died 7 days later. (Helen also passed 11-21-1900.)

His second marriage was to Pelagia "Lena" Grzegorek (b. 12-3-1879, d. 9-26-1946) on Sept. 29, 1901 at St. Joseph's in New Waverly.
