ROBERT HORACE ABSTON, originally from Bristol, TN, died after waging a heroic fight against Vietnam service related diseases. He was a 22 year, retired, U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars and had a 20 year career with Eckerd Drugs. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Kathrine (Midge) Abston; daughter, Sheila; son, Anthony, grandsons, Jeremy and Zachery and 3 great-grandchildren. Published in the Orlando Sentinel on June 5, 2010.
