Bernard J. "Tex" Bidegain, 59, of Casa Grande, died Feb. 25, 1993, in Casa Grande. He was 59.

Mr. Bidegain was born Nov. 22, 1933, in Cascabel and lived all his life in Arizona. He was a member of an Arizona pioneer family. He worked in the sheep and hay industries for many years. Mr. Bidegain was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Casa Grande, a charter member of the West Pinal County Sheriff's Posse and a former member of the Rodeo Cowboys Association. He roped at rodeos for many years in Casa Grande.

He is survived by his wife Ann L. Bidegain of Casa Grande, sons Marty of Scottsdale and Duane, Gary and Christopher, all of Casa Grande; brothers Pete of Sonoita, Phillip of Tucumcari, N.M., Mike of Kearny and Raymond of Tucson; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joe and a sister, Mary Bowen.

Services have been held with the Revs. Bob Carney and Bernard Colton officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Phoenix Children's Hospital, 1111 E. McDowell Road, Phoenix, 85006. Cole and Maude handled the arrangements.
