William Andrew Rose, 80, died in his home Sunday afternoon after an apparent -heart
attack.

Funeral was conducted Tuesday afternoon in Kiker and Son Chapel. Rev. Glenn Roenfeldt, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiated in services. Burial was in Colorado City Cemetery.

Pallbearer were Glenn Thomas, Henry Doss, Howard Cox, Kelly Treadaway , Dalton Keeth and Willis Jones.

Born in Wise County Sept. 2, 1890, he married Willie Teague in Brady April 20, l911.
They came to Colorado City in 1928 operating a grocery business here until moving to Oklahoma in 1936.

After his retirement in 1968
Mr. and Mrs. Rose returned to Colorado City. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a former deacon and Sunday School superintendent.

Survivors are his wife of the home, 1051 Oak Street, two daughters, Mrs. Luke Thomas
of Colorado City and Mrs. Kathryn Brame of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three half-brothers, Wesley Graham of Downey, Cal., Kyle Graham of Tyler, W. S. Graham of Houston, two half-sisters, Mrs. Sally Hollon of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Mrs. Vivian Long of Washington, D. C.
