William Jesse Allen, 92, of 1610 Richter Ave., died Monday afternoon at a local hospital.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. R.C. Hallman Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Rosemound Cemetery.
Mr. Allen was born Sep. 13, 1895 in Falls County, where he attended schools. He was married to Audrey Witt on Oct. 4, 1924, in Waco. He was a veteran of World War I, serving in Germany and France for 18 months. He was a member of Memorial Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Juanita Maddison of Waco; a son, Milton Allen of Waco; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
