Funeral services held Weds. for Mrs. Chris Larsen, who
passed away Monday.
Mrs Chris Larsen 35, passed away January 21 at her home five miles north of Ord, after an illness of five weeks. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Bethany Lutheran Church, Rev. J. Magnussen officiating. Interment was made in Ord Cemetery.
Laura Jensen Ost was born March 21, 1892 in Randers Denmark. She came to the U.S. in 1916 and located in Ord, being married the next year to Chris Larsen. Three children were born to this union all of whom, with her husband are left to mourn her death.The children are Carla, Erna dn Christiana. Mrs Larsen is also survived by her parents and ten brothers and sisters, all of whom live in Denmark.
In her youth Mrs Larsen was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She was self-sacrificing and a loving mother and wife and will be missed, not only by bereaved family, but by numerous friends.
