Gary Clinton Norman Walls, Sr.., of Kennett, son of the late Jim Norman and Margaret Caroline George, was born Jan. 28, 1944 in Senath, Mo., and departed this life Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the age of 66 years, 3 months and 15 days.
Gary was a member of Lulu Baptist Church.
Gary married Betsy Jean Chailland on December 30, 1961.
Survivors include his wife, Betsy Walls, of Kennett; one son, Gary Clinton Walls, Jr., of Theodore, Ala.; one daughter, Deborah Jean Miller, of West Plains, Mo.; one grandson, Clinton A. Morgan, of Austin, Texas; two half-brothers, Ricky Norman, of Paragould, Ark., and David Walls of Kennett; one sister, Janice Sullinger, of Pocohantas, Ark., and other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held Saturday, May 15, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with Rev. J.E. Crews officiating.
Pallbearers were Gary Walls, Jr., Clinton Morgan, Ricky Norman, Greg Culton, Jason Nichols and Adam Norman.
