Banner Courier, Monday, 27 January 1930:

"Longstreet Vaughan, well known and life long citizen of the Molalla section, died
in the Oregon City hospital Saturday, having been there three weeks. The body was taken
to Molalla, where the funeral and interment will take place. Deceased spent his entire
life on the Vaughan donation land claim, three and one-half miles north of Molalla.

"Besides the widow he is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs.
Virginia Cutting, J. C. and F. M. Vaughan, Molalla; Mrs. N. M. Wood, Portland and N. O.
Vaughan, Mulino.

"Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Everhart chapel
in Molalla, Rev. J. O. Staats officiating. Interment was in Adams cemetery, in the
Vaughan family plot. Deceased was almost 65 years of age at the time of his death."
