CLARA FOJTIK SVEC

Funeral services for Clara Fojtik Svec, 82, of East Bernard, were held Saturday, May 25 at 10 a.m. from Holy Cross Catholic Church in East Bernard with Rev. DOD Rupert celebrating the Funeral Mass and Rite of Committal. A rosary was held at 7 p.m., Friday, May 24 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment was in the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery Serving as pallbearers were Clifford Kozik, Ronald, Jeffrey, Larry Jr., Jerry Anthony, and Marty Fojtik.

Honorary pallbearers were Robert Jr., Zachary and Richard Fojtik.

Born in Holman, Clara was the daughter of Frank and Rosie Migl Voldan. She was raised in Praha and Schulenburg and attended school in Praha Clara was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and was a lifelong homemaker. Clara Fojtik Svec died May 23 in Richmond.

Surviving are seven sons, Johnnie Fojtik and wife Gladys of Schulenburg, Frankie Fojtik and wife Deborah of Rosenberg, Larry Fojtik and wife Beverly of Katy, Jerry Fojtik and wife Theresa of Hungerford, Victor Fojtik and wife Monica of Rosenberg, Henry Fojtik of East Bernard, and Robert Fojtik Sr, and wife Rosemary of Rosenberg, sisters Henrietta Koester of El Campo, Mary Barcak of Praha, brothers Frank Voldan and wife Louise of El Campo, George Voldan of El Campo, Daniel Voldan of wife Isabel of Rosenberg, 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Rosie Voldan, husbands Robert Fojtik and Willie Svec, brothers John Voldan and Baby Boy, and great-grandson Jeremy Hunter Foitik.
