Mrs. Bedford Jean Deal Aldrich, age 62, died Tuesday at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility after a short illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County and a homemaker. She was a 1964 graduate of Marvin Pittman High School. Mrs. Aldrich was employed with Brooks Instruments for 38 years as a data processor and she also worked with her husband in the family business.
Mrs. Aldrich attended the Middleground Primitive Baptist Church and she truly treasured her family and her many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bedford Henderson and Reba Lee Deal; her sister, Alma Deal; and her brother, Francis Earl Deal.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jerry Aldrich; her son, Jerry Kyle Aldrich; her brother and sister-in-law, Lavonne and Gerri Deal; her grandson, Kyle Hunter Aldrich, all of Statesboro; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 16, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Gracewood Baptist Church with Elder Howard Rushing and Dr. Bill Eckles officiating.
Burial will follow in the Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Keith Deal, Henry Deal, Marty Deal, Dell Saxon, Allen Aldrich and Jason Harville.
