Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Lewis Funeral home for W.A. Ford, 78, who died of a heart attack Tuesday night at his home, 202 South Fifth Street.

In charge of the rites will be the Rev. Floyd Murphy, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Oak View cemetery.

Born in Arkansas, Mr. Ford had lived in Albia for about 50 years. He had been failing health since suffering a fractured hip in a fall about 18 months ago.

He is survived by his wife and nine sons and a daughter. One son, Kenneth, has been listed as "missing" in Korea since 1950. Other children are Don Ford of Plainwell, Mich., William Ford of Mt. Pleasant, Leonard Ford, also of Mt. Pleasant, Harley Ford of Newton, Rolan Ford of Chula Vista, Cal., and Garry, Larry, Danny and Carolyn Ford, at home.

Also surving are two sisters living in Carthage, MO., and one in Orange Cove, Cal.
