Fargo Woman Victim of Lenghty Illness

Mrs. Bertha Miller, 64, a resident of Fargo, died at 6 o'clock this morning at the Falls City hospital. Death was caused by complications. Mrs. Miller had been in failing health for two years. She under went an operation for bowel
obstruction in December and January and on March 1 reentered the hospital for treatment.

Mrs. Miller was born July 17, 1875, at Watson Mo. She had spent most of her life in Missouri and the Fargo vicinity. March 31, 1893, she was married to James Miller at Savannah, Mo. The couple was engaged in farming for many years. Mr. Miller died April 17, 1938.

She is survived by three sons, Howard and Fred Miller, both of Fargo, and Tom Miller, Langdon, Mo.; six daughters, Mrs. Henry Nissen, Rulo, Mrs. Emmett Thompson and Mrs. Floyd Thompson, both of Fargo, Mrs. Irvin Foster, Fortescue, Mo., and Misse Clara and Rosie Miller, both at home; a brother Jim Harmon, Falls City; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The body will be at the Miller home at Fargo where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in the Argo cemetery.
