Ollie Stafford, 42, died Saturday afternoon in the Little Falls Hospital following a mastoid operation.
He was born November 28, 1897, in the Town of Danube, son of Fred and Nellie Mosher Stafford. Mr. Stafford had been a resident of the Town of Stark for about two years, previously residing in the Town of Danube and Town of Minden.
Surviving are his wife, the former Helen Sickler; one son, Carl, who is at home; his mother, Mrs. Fred Stafford; three sisters, Rebecca Monk, Wingdale; Mrs. Irene Monk, Ft. Plain and Mrs. P. G. Barezze, Sand Hook, Conn.; a brother, Earl, Freysbush; two nieces and four nephews.
The funeral will be held at the home of his mother, 36 Center Street, tomorrow afternoon, the Rev. C. R. Hamilton, pastor of the Fort Plain Baptist Church, officiating.
