Interment is in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Griffin died Oct. 31 in Bainbridge. Born May 22, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John Carroll and Pollie Mae Plymel Redding. On June 3, 1942, in Thomasville, she married David Howard Griffin who preceded her in death. She was a seamstress for Warners and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Quinlan H. and Cheryl Griffin of Carrabelle, Fla.; daughter, Marceille Griffin of Peachtree City; daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Tom Donalson of Marietta; grandchildren, Stacey Wheeler and husband, Todd, Lana Orth and husband, Ron, Amanda Griffin, Tiffany Griffin, Melissa Woods and husband, Hill, Hayden Donalson, Thomas Donalson Jr.; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Wheeler and Gavin Wheeler; and sister, Myrtice Groves of Bainbridge. She was preceded in death by son, Larry C. Griffin.
