Arthur W. Horn, age 68, of Aberdeen S.D., a former resident of Greenwood, Clark County, died of a heart attack Friday morning, Jan. 25, 1963, at his home in Aberdeen. Mr. Horn, son of Robert and Christine (Braun) Horn, was born in the Town of Longwood, Aug. 18, 1894. He lived here until he joined the army. After he received his discharge, he went to Onaka, SD., in 1919 and farmed there until 1951, when he returned to Greenwood and lived with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. George Poppe. Shortly before his marriage to Agnes Nelson on Oct. 18, 1960 he went to Aberdeen and had resided there since.

Military funeral services were held for Arthur W. Horn, 68, January 30 from Immanuel United Church, with the Rev. Orval Egbert officiating. Burial was made in Forest Hill Cemetery, at Braun Settlement.

Pallbearers were nephews: Kenneth Horn, Lloyd Horn, Donald Horn, Herbert Horn, Darrel Horn and Gerald Horn.

The Men's Chorus of Immanuel Church, accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Clarence Meinhardt, sang, "Abide with me" and "O What a Friend is Jesus". Organist was Mrs. Walter Schwarze.

D.; Ervin Horn and daughter, Mrs. Charles Wentworth, and Jerome Horn, all of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Wadzinski of Junction City; and friends from Withee and Loyal.
