John J. Meyer, 62, of 4359 Timberline Road, Walnutport, died Monday in Palmerton Hospital after being stricken at his home. He was the husband of Margaret Ceykovsky.
He was a foreman for J.J. Biafore Concrete Contractors, Bethlehem, for the past 25 years.
Born in Walnutport, he was a son of the late August and Cecilia (Wechsler) Mayer.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and received the Purple Heart.
Surviving with his widow are a daughter, Mariane Schaffer of Allentown, a son, John J. Jr. of Walnutport, and two grandsons.
Services will be at Charles H. Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.
