Jessica Lynn Weishair, 16, of rural Pelican Rapids, died Saturday, April 5, 2008, from injuries sustained in a bus accident near Albertville, while returning with other members of the Pelican Rapids High School band from a trip to Chicago.

Jessica Lynn Weishair was born March 25, 1992, at St. John's Hospital in Fargo, the daughter of Kim and Stacy Weishair. She was baptized at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Barnesville and confirmed at Faith Lutheran Church in Pelican Rapids.

Jessica was in the 10th grade at Pelican Rapids High School. She was involved in many things including band, choir, dance, softball, volleyball, volunteer work at church and Bible School teacher. She spent many hours cooking and baking with Grandma Fran. Her whole family will greatly miss her participation in the annual deer hunt, as she was quite the deer hunter.

One of Jessica's more recent accomplishments was on her 16th birthday, March 25, acquiring her driver's license, and also on the same day, starting her new job at Cenex in Pelican Rapids.

She was a most treasured daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece and friend to many, many people.
Jessica will live on forever in our hearts, and memories of Jessica will last a lifetime.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Royce Weishair; great-grandparents, Clinton and Eudora Sinotte, John and Stella Swenson, and Kalmer Siggerud; and an aunt, Tammy Beyer.

Jessica is survived by her parents, Kim and Stacy; a sister, Brooke; a brother, Jordan; a niece, Mariah, all of rural Pelican Rapids; grandparents, Reuben and Fran Beyer of Barnesville, and Mervin and Cleone Johnson of Eagle Bend; aunts and uncles, Wes and Stephanie Anderson of Barnesville, Steve and Barb Weishair of Eagle Bend, and Kurt Weishair of Staples; and cousins, Weston and Ashley Anderson, Amanda and Chelsea Weishair, and Robin, Katie, Melanie and Jake Weishair.
