Mr. Galindo died Sunday at Covenant Medical Center. He was born April 30, 1924, in Gillette, to the late Pedro and Antonia Galindo. He married Jessie Oliva on Oct. 11, 1958, in Idalou. He was a lifelong farmer and Catholic. He was preceded in death by a son, Isreal Galindo in 1959 and two brothers, Frank and Johnny Galindo.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Galindo of Lubbock; seven sons, Roy Galindo of San Antonio and Tony Galindo, Paul Berlanga, Oscar Galindo, Raul Galindo, Pedro Galindo and Frankie Galindo, all of Lubbock; five daughters, Mary Llanas, Kathy Adame, Dora Galindo, Patricia Galindo Caro, and Corina Rivas, all of Lubbock; two brothers, Nino and Joe Galindo, both of San Antonio; two sisters, Pauline Villanueva of Nixon and Tommie Galindo of Karnes City; 36 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
