Mrs. Earl (Amelia) Schell, 58, of 223 White, died Sunday morning in a Walla Walla hospital.

Survivors are her husband, Earl Schell, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Joanne) Rojo of Walla Walla; one son, Jack Schell of Prescott; one brother, Philip G. Blahm of San Francisco; two sisters, Mrs. R. W. Brown of Portland and Mrs. Hap Vessel of Jacksonville, Ore., and one granddaughter.

Mrs. Schell was born on Jan. 15, 1895, in Kansas.

The Schells farmed at Whitman Monument for seven years, moved to Prescott where they farmed for eight years, then retired from farming and moved to Walla Walla in 1945.

Mrs. Schell was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Sunshine Club, Lady Elks, Walla Walla Garden Club, Prescott Study Club, Rebekah Lodge of Prescott, and the Home Economics Club of Prescott.

Last Respects Paid Mrs. Schell

The funeral for Mrs. Earl Schell of 223 White was held Tuesday morning in a flower-banked Walla Walla chapel, with Dr. E. T. Allen of the Prescott Presbyterian Church officiating.

The Clematis Rebekah Lodge 30 of Prescott attended in a body as did members of Walla Walla Fire Station No. 3. Louis Clayson sang "The Lord's Prayer" and Going Home," accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Luther Plankenhorn.

Pallbearers were Dr. Max Herrmann, Emmett Burrows, Fred Hofer, E. A. Duncan and W. D. Ray of Walla Walla, and Dr. E. E. Hardy of Prescott.

Interment is in the family plot at Mountain View Cemetery.
