Miss Fannie Ballard, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Ballard, died about 1 o'clock yesterday, after a terrible illness, aged 20 years. She was the light of the home, a pure, intellectual and lovable young lady, and her death is a loss to all. There is a universal sympathy with the bereaved parents. The funeral takes place at 2 -p.m. on Sunday from the parents' home of north 8th street, and the services will be conducted by Rev. Hughes, assisted by Rev. Frank Hallam. Interment at Earlham.
