JENNINGS — Funeral services for Melvin R. "Tiny" Radke, 88, of Mermentau, will
be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, in Miguez Funeral Home.
The Revs. Lindsey Burns and Paul Radke will officiate. Burial will be in
Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Thursday.
Mr. Radke died at 8:55 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2001, in a Lake Charles hospital.
He was a native of Beaumont, Texas, and he had lived in Mermentau for 37
years. He was a retired carpenter foreman for Brown and Root Construction Co.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jennings.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna G. Radke of Livingston, Texas; one son,
Melvin R. Radke Jr. of Orange, Texas; one sister, Melba Hauver of Orange; and
three grandchildren.
