JENNINGS — Funeral services for Mr. Allen "The Lawnmower Man" Hebert, 88, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March
29, 2005, in Miguez Funeral Home, with the Revs. Bill Blanchard and John Couch officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Funeral home visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. today, March 28, and from 8 a.m. Tuesday,
March 29, until the time of services.
Mr. Hebert died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, March 26, in the Jeff Davis Living Center. He was a native of Eunice
and resident of Jennings for 85 years. A retired lawnmower repairman, he was a faithful member of First
Baptist Church of Evangeline, a deacon, and member of the adult Sunday school class.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mabel Cormier Hebert of Jennings; a daughter, Barbara, and son-in-law,
Allen Ordoneaux of Jennings; a son, Tony, and daughter-in-law, Lynn Royer of Jennings; three sisters, Zora
Miller of Evangeline, Lela Cook of Fort Worth, Texas, and Camilla Hawthorne of Wimberly, Texas; two
brothers, the Rev. Stafford Hebert of Edgewater, Fla., and Jake Hebert of Orange, Texas; and three
grandchildren, Devon Royer, Baylee Royer and Toni Trahan.
Pallbearers are Charles Cormier, Randy Cormier, Bryan Hebert, Reggie Newson, Don Gotte and Bobby Miller.
Honorary pallbearers are Wilton St. Germain and Carrol Hebert.
