Suddenly in this city on June 1, 1972, Harold J. Brooks, husband of Sara M. Brooks, of 410 Beverly Road, Newark, Del. Aged 64 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the FUNERAL HOME, 121 W. Park Place, Newark, Del. on Tuesday morning, June 6 at 11 o'clock. Friends may call two hours prior to service time. Interment at the convience of the family. In lieu of flowers, make contributions to the Delaware Heart Fund, Independence Mall, Wilmington 19803

Harold J. Brooks, 64, of 410 Beverly Road, Newark, died at his home yesterday of natural causes.

Mr. Brooks retired a year and a half ago from the Chrysler Corp., where he had been a engineer for 19 years.
He was born in Minneapolis and was moved to Newark 19 years ago from Detroit.

During World War II, he served with the SeaBees. He was a member of the O'Daniel Post 475, VHW, in Newark.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sara M. Brooks; four sons, Thomas A. of Elsmere, Lynn of California, Guy A. of Detroit and Jay W. of Westland, Mich; three daughters, Mrs. G. L. Baxter of Austin, Minn., Mrs. Joyce Merkley and Mrs. Mary Maley, both of St. Paul; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Bates of Sauk Rapids, Minn.; his mother, Mrs. Leona Brooks of Sauk Rapids and 15 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the William J. Warwick Funeral Home, 121 W. Park Place, Newark, two hours before services which will be there at 11 on Tuesday morning. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Heart Fund, Independence Mall, Wilmington.
