BRUNDIDGE----Dewitt Grimes, 72 died in Ariton Thursday.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm Saturday from Pleasant Hill Church with the Rev. Benny Griswold and the Rev. Lolly officiating. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery, Jackson Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Jewell Grimes, Brundidge: two sons, Fred Grimes, Columbus, Ga.: Harold Grimes, Phenix City: four daughters: Mrs. Myrtle Hutchinson, Elba: Mrs. Florence Morris, Birmingham: Mrs. Miriam Garner, Ariton: Mrs. Sylvia Zeitvogel, Birmingham: a brother, Lunsford Grimes, Ozark: two sisters, Mrs. Joe Shiver, Center: Mrs. Irvin Andrews, Chancellor: 20 grandchildren: 12 great-grandchildren.
