Mrs Squires Dies at 75 in Johnstown
JOHNSTOWN — Mrs Lreetha Squires, 76, a- Johnstown resident some 45 years and the widow of Arthur Squires, died early yesterday at Nathan Littauer Hospital where she was a patient two days. She had been in falling health many years.
Born in Otsego county, she attended the First Methodist Church. Survivors are two sons, Clarence Squires of Johnstown, and Harry Squires of RD 1, Broadalbin; a brother, Floyd Snyder of Johnstown; and a granddaughter.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Cole funeral home. Rev. Charles D. Schwartz of the First Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be In Fly Creek cemetery

MRS ARTHUR SQUIRES
Mrs Lreetha, Squires, aged 75, died on October 13 at her home in Gloversvifle.
She was born on January 17, 1883 in Oaksville, the daughter of the late Ernie and Lucy: (Miller) Snyder.
She married the late Arthur Squires in 1901 at Hartwick Seminary. For several, years they lived in and hear Cooperstown, both being; employees of the old mills at Index and Phoenix Mills. Later, they went to Johnstown, where they lived until his death and then Mrs. Squires moved to Gloversville.
Surviving are two sons, Clarence Squires of Johnstown and Harry Squires of Broadalbin; a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter, both of Johnstown; a brother, Floyd M Snyder of Johnstown; several cousins and other relatives.
Funeral services were held on Friday at the Cole Funeral Home in Johnstown and burial was in Fly Creek Cemetery.
