CLEBURNE - Jessie Mae Melton, a former Levine's Department Store and Gibson's saleswoman, died Monday in Cleburne. She was 78.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Martin's Funeral Home in Cleburne. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park in Cleburne.
Mrs. Melton was born in Denton and had lived in Cleburne for 45 years.She was a member of Field Street Baptist Church.
Survivors: Two sons, Dennis Melton of Burleson and Jack Melton of Syracuse, N.Y.; four brothers, J.C. Vaughan and T.D. Vaughan, both of Coral Gables, Fla., Bill Vaughan of Fort Worth and P.M. Vaughan of Garland; and three grandchildren.
