Frank Bellas, 91-year-old retired employee of Pennsylvania Department of Highways, died Sunday afternoon in Armsdale Home and Hospital, on Rural Valley Road. Mr. Bellas was born May 6, 1884 in East Franklin Township, a son of George and Lizzie (Brannan) Bellas. Surviving relatives are sons Ted C. of Kittanning and Jack of Niles, Ohio; daughters Mrs. Elizabeth Kammerdiener of Kittanning, Mrs. Marybelle George of Canonsburg, Mrs. Alice Densmore of West Kittanning, Mrs. James (Gladys) Barnett of Kittanning RD 7, Mrs. Joseph (Doris) Wyant, East Brady Road, Kittanning; a brother, Alonzo Bellas of Kittanning; a sister, Mrs. Lydia Snyder of Elizabeth, Ky., 36 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Bellas's wife Ella died in 1966. Two sons and two daughters are also deceased. BELLAS — Friends of Frank Bellas, who died May 2, 1976, are being received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, S. McKcan at Jacob St. here. The service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, by the Rev. C. Roger Butler. Burial will be in Worthington Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements by F. Duane Snyder.
