Grace Balkcom Griffin, 91, of Gordon, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010. Daughter of the late Ozie and Bernice Smith Balkcom, she was born in Jones County, but resided in Gordon for most of her adult life. Preceded in death by husband, William Benjamin Griffin, grandsons Mark Griffin and Ryan Hartnett, and brothers, Carl, Bernard, Bill, and Dick Balkcom, sister Lavern Crosby, she was a homemaker and member of New Haven Baptist Church. Mrs. Griffin loved her church and her church family.
