Vance R. Manwaring, 47 of Salt Lake City, a former Ashton resident, died October 16, 1997 at his home in Utah. He was born August 9, 1950, in Rexburg, a son of James Basil and Edna Adams Manwaring. He attended schools in Ashton and graduated form North Fremont High School. A Ricks College graduate, he was a member of the Valhalla Dancers while a student there. He toured with Disney on Parade. Mr. Manwaring was a member of the Salt Lake Acting Company. In many theatrical production, including Promised Valley, he had major roles. He is survived by his mother, Edna Manwaring of Rigby; sisters, Nessie Zitlau of Rigby, Lanette Shindurling of Sundance, Utah, Susan Bozung of Alpine, Utah, Teresa Wilkes of Cedar Hills, Utah, Laurie Foster of Rigby, Valene Erickson of Idaho Falls and Jenae Huskinson of Logan, Utah; brothers, Roland Manwaring of Sandy, Utah, Blake Manwaring of Rigby, Jed Manwaring of Boise and Bart Manwaring of Orem, Utah. He was preceded in death by his father.
