Merrill Aikman
Merrill Harvey Aikman, 75, died Monday. Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Northlake Baptist Church, 1501 N. Country Club Road. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. He was born Sept. 2, 1926.
Mr. Aikman retired from Johnson Controls and was a member of Northlake Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Roger Glen and Carrie Aikman of Quinlan, Richard Tatman of Kansas, Lonnie and Betty Tatman of Melissa, David Tatman of Copeville and Kathy Aikman of Garland; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Tatman of Americus, Kan; Leona and Mitch Vining of Kaufman; and Margaret Tatman of Garland; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Gracie Aikman of Kennedale; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
