Funeral services were held in the Atoy Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Willie Ann Murray, 88.
Mrs. Murray, former resident of Ponta, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lela Wilburn in Maydelle. Rev. R. S. Hughes and Rev. J. M. Schwitter were in charge of the services. Burial was made in the Atoy cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.

She is survived by three sons, W.A. Murray, J.B. Murray, and Dewey Murray; four daughters, Mrs. Frances Birdwell, Miss Lorena Murray, Mrs. J.O. Jackson and Mrs. Wilburn. She is also survived by a sister and two brothers; fifty-two grandchildren and 103 great-grandchildren.She had been a member of the Baptist church since girlhood.
