Funeral Services held Friday for Dennis Willenborg
Dennis Joe Willenborg, 16, of Route 2, West, died at 10:35 a.m. Thursday in a Waco hospital of leukemia.
Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel at West, with requiem mass celebrated at 8 p.m. Friday in St. Martin’s Catholic Church at Tours, with Rev. Marion Atomanczyk as celebrant. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel with burial in St. Martin’s Cemetery at Tours.
Mr. Willenborg was born near West and had lived there all of his life. He was a junior at West high School, a member of the West High School Band, and Future Farmers of America. He was a member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church of Tours and the Tours CYO.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Mary Willenborg of Route 2, West; one brother, Jackie Willenborg of West; six sisters, Mrs. Robert (Connie) Sealey of Mesquite, Mrs. Johnny (Annette) Fell of Lewisville, Mrs. Eugene (Mary Ann) Nors, Mrs. Edwin (Yvonne) Nors, Miss Margie Willenborg and Miss Sharon Willenborg all of West; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jerry Willenborg, Larry Willenborg, Felix Mynar, Jr., David Neckar, Michael Klaus, and Gregory Pavlicek.
