Rites for David Jobe Held December 25
David Leroy Jobe, student at Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama, died of injuries received in an automobile accident near Durant Friday. He was 21.
Services were held at Main Street Baptist Church in Goodman Saturday, December 25, at 2 p.m. with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Southern Funeral Home in Durant was in charge of the arrangements.
He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Leroy Jobe of Goodman; two brothers, Nickie Jobe and Wayne Jobe, both of Goodman; and two sisters, Mrs. Betty Murphy of Starkville and Miss Judy Jobe of Goodman.
Pallbearers were Edwin Albin, Kenny Boyette, Mike Mason, Bill David, Ricky Caldwell, Jimmy McCrory, Terry Carr and Howard Grantham.
