Gladys Gulledge Hale
Mrs. Gladys Gulledge Hale, 58, died Friday at the Holmes County Community Hospital where she had been a patient for a week.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday June l, from Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Durant with the Rev. H.G. Wallace, assisted by the Rev. I.R. Metts, officiating.
Mrs. Hale was a lifelong resident of Goodman, the daughter of D.K. Gulledge and Henrietta Harmon Gulledge. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was employed as a teller in the Holmes County Bank and Trust Company.
Survivors include her husband W.P. Hale and one daughter, Miss Karen Hale of Goodman; one brother, D. K. Gulledge Jr., of Goodman; and her stepmother, Mrs. D. K. Gulledge of Goodman.
Pallbearers were Bill Donald, Roy McDonald, Hal Peel, Noel Dickerson, Billy Parker and Sonny McNeer.
Honorary pallbearers were J.B. Neaves, Jack Albin, Hugh Lee Albin, Robert L. McClesky, Wilburn Potts, J.J. Browning, Floyd Gilbert, Sam Hall, Marion Ousley, John Cauthen and Dickerson.
