Mathias, John and Nicholas Molitor came from Heffingen. Mathias, and Nicholas Reckinger came from Haller in 1853, Peter and Susan Reckinger in 1867. and brother Francois Reckinger settled in Dearborn, Michigan in 1853. Lorenz and Nicholas Kranz came from Heffingen. Nicholas, John, Mathias and Stephen Fidler came from Olinger. The names of Luxemburg emigrants who settled in Big Woods included Koehl, Karp, Brucher, Frantzen, Wolsfelt, Millen, Berger, Clesen, Reuland, Wermes, Clemens, Daleiden, Draut, Loser, Hartz, Wittry, Kartheiser, Raush, Faber, Schmit, Linden, Miller, Weiland, Komes, May, Lenert, Schuler, Felton, Hettinger, Wolf, Marx and others. By 1870 Big Woods was almost totally occupied by people from Luxemburg.
