Anna Mudra Blazek, daughter of James and Josie Mudra was born in Czechoslovakia, Nov. 1, 1872 and passed away April 23, 1951, at the age 78 years, 5 months and 2 days, after an illness of about three years. She came to this country at the age of 15 years and made her home in Creston until the time of her marriage to Ed Blazek Aug. 8, 1893, when she went with him to his farm near Prescott where they made their home until December 1926, when they retired to Creston which has since been their home. They had been married 57 years.

Anna was a devoted and loving mother and wife, always thinking of others first and spending her time doing for her family.

She leaves to mourn her passing her devoted husband, Ed, daughters, Albina Young and Lillian Gibson, three sons, Charles, Joseph, and Rudolph, all of Prescott vicinity, twenty-three grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Anna will be greatly missed by her family and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held April 25 at • two o'clock at McGregor Brothers and Coens chapel.

Bruce Eschelman of Fontanelle officiated. Burial was in the Bohemian National Cemetery at Williamson.
