LARKINS, ROBBIE D. (MITCHELL), 91, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Wesley Manor Retirement Center.
She was born in Trigg County, KY to Tandy W. and Beulah V. (Alexander) Mitchell. Mrs. Larkins was a lunch room manager for Jefferson Co. Public Schools for 19 years and a member of Mosaic United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, George W. Larkins Jr., and a son, Robert D. Larkins.
Survivors include her children, Lacy H. Larkins (Gloria), J. D. Larkins (Delores), Carol A. Howard (Jim) and Cheryl L. Jutz (Rick); nine grandchildren, Rita Martin, Doug Larkins (Kathy), Laurie Holliger (Bill), Travis Larkins, Nichole Sheppard (Dan), Kristen Schladand (Todd), Megan Schweizer, Meredith Schweizer and Margot Howard; 13 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas E. Mitchell (Lucy).
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with a 4 p.m. graveside service at East Cadiz Cemetery, Cadiz, KY. (All times Louisville Time). Visitation will be noon - 9 p.m. Thursday
