JOHN HENRY RAINEY DIES THURSDAY NIGHT
John Henry Rainey, 63-year-old Idabel resident, died at 10:45 p. m. Thursday at his home following a stroke, and funeral arrangements are incomplete as we go to press, pending the arrival of out-of-town relatives.
Rainey moved here one year ago from Fillmore. He was a member of the Baptist church.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p. m. Sunday at South Bethel Baptist church with Rev. Earl Dunn officiating. Burial will be made in Byrum cemetery, Tom, under direction of Coffey funeral home.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Rainey, Idabel; one step-son, C. A. Wright, Lenore, Texas; three step-daughters, Mrs. Dave Romines, Tupelo; Mrs. Tom Lisenby, Salinas, Calif., and Mrs. Martha Truitt, Duncan, Ariz.; one brother, M. A. Rainey, Big Springs, Texas, and one sister, Mrs. E. Bennett, Raymondville, Texas.
