My mother Dolores Mendez was married to Pablo Medina. She had eight children: The late David Medina, Daniel, Harold and Fabian. Surviving children include myself Carmen, Jose, Maria, Pablo,Jr.

Both my parents were God fearing people and raised their children in a loving environment. We all suffered my mothers passing but for some reason my sister Maria had a hard time accepting her death and it wasn't until the many dreams that she had with our mother that her pain slowly subsided, for the dreams she had with our mother were very spiritual as our mother would bring her meaningful messages that brought peace and comfort to her. Maria wrote many poems regarding my parents and I'd like to place a poem here that she wrote as if my mother was talking to her in her dreams. It's called: Always Remember.......

You dream of me, cry at night,
For I cannot be with you.
Your suffering is beyond repair,
The future alone, you'll have to see through.

Though you cannot see me...I am there,
Watching you with loving eyes;
Always remember that dream when I said:
'I never really died.'

Just keep me close to your heart
And never let me go.
Remember that I never died,
For God is the owner of my soul.

You may not be able to see me,
Touch me, or hold on to my hand;
But rest assure, I am there,
Where ever you may be...or stand.

If at night you should feel
A tender breeze caress your face;
It's only me watching over you,
It's you that I've embraced.

Fear not of the night my child,
For I will always be by your side;
Just remember that I love you,
And that I never really died.

Your father is gone now too,
Your suffering never seem to end;
But together, we're watching over you,
Together, our love we send.

Cry not if you should see us,
Together in your dreams;
Look for us, we're always there,
Whenever you are in need.

God has not forsaken you,
Though He may have taken us away;
Reach out your hand call to HIM
For he is there, 24-hours-a-day.

So...if you should ever feel in need,
For someone loving, someone who cares;
Don't hesitate to call our names,
Just look for us, we're right there.
