MARY DIMICK PASSES AWAY
Mrs. Mary Ellen Dimick, 80, a lifetime resident of Vermillion, passed away at the Dakota Hospital early Monday morning. She had been in the hospital since Friday.
Mrs. Dimick was born January 2, 1871 in Vermillion, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Chaussee. She was married to Eldon Dimick, December 6, 1888 in Vermillion. She was a member of the Methodist church. Mrs. Dimick's husband died in 1947 and a son, Lyle, died March 17, 1951. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Verna Peterson of Vermillion, a brother, Fred Chaussee of Colorado Springs, Colo., two sisters, Mrs. Edna Swisher and Mrs. Rose Waterman, both of Vermillion and a grandson, Virgil Peterson, of Vermillion.
Services will be held Friday June 1 at 3:30 at the Methodist church with the Rev. J. V. Leach officiating. Burial will be in Bluff View cemetery under the direction of the Elmore-Wagner Funeral services.
