Celious C. "Fatty" Mitman, 71, of 95 Schoeneck Ave., Nazareth, died yesterday in Easton Hospital.
He was retired as a tape slitter for St. Regis Paper Co., Nazareth.
Born in Bethlehem Township, he was a son of the late William and Helen Wooliever Mitman.
He was a figure caller for county square dances.
Surviving are his wife, the former Carrie Beck; a daughter, Mrs. Luella Snyder, Kingston, N.Y.; three brothers, John of Bath; Russell of Easton R.D. 2 and Harry of Easton; a sister, Mrs. Katie Fogel, Nazareth R.D. 1, and a grandchild.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Bartholomew Funeral Home, Nazareth. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown.

She was a custodian in the Nazareth School District for many years, retiring in 1984. Born in Richmond, Washington Township, Northampton County, she was a daughter of Leuella M. Beck of Palmer Township and the late Clifford Beck. Survivors: Mother; daughter, Leuella, wife of Scott W. McAllister of Kingston, N.Y.; and two granddaughters.
Services: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center St., Nazareth. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday
