Phyllis Shephard Neville, 41, of Rogers Street died at 11:23 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000, at her home.

She was a switchboard operator at Cummins Inc. and a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Vernon Jewell-Nick Rittman Funeral Home with the Rev. J.C. Brown officiating. Calling will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Mrs. Neville was born in Columbus Sept. 2, 1959. She was the daughter of Lillie Barger Brown of Columbus and the late Thurman Brown.

Other survivors include her husband, Gary E. Neville; a son, Tommy Shephard of Columbus; a daughter, Ashley Shephard of Columbus; a stepdaughter, Samantha Neville of Columbus; a brother, David E. Brown of Columbus; and sisters Betty Jean Johnson and Helen L. Crase, both of Columbus.
