Charles E. Ice, aged 79, died Monday, October 20, 1958 at the home of his son, Virgil Ice in Waverly. He was born December 16, 1878 in Defiance Co, Ohio and had lived at Waverly for many years. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his son Virgil and a daughter, Mrs Etta Hanes of Alameda Calif. Two brothers, George Ice of Lawrence and Fred Ice of Topeka and a sister, Mrs Susie Bond of Bellflower, Calif.
He was a member of the Bethany Church of Christ, East of Waverly.
Funeral services will be there at 2 O'clock Thursday afternoon and interment will be in Waverly cemetery. Arrangements by the Jones Funeral Home of Waverly.
