Jesse Franklin Watson was born on Februry 28, 1891 to Jesse "Frank" Watson and Theodosia "Dosia" Ernest Bates in Comanche Co, Texas. He had five brothers and sisters: Earl Edmond (1880), William Jonathan Other (1882), Rosa Effie (1886), Mary "Maynie" Belle (1893) and Alta Lomeca (1900).
On April 6, 1913, he married Pearl Ann McCullough, daughter of Mr and Mrs Luther S McCullough. They were the proud parents of two boys: Jesse Eldred (I914) and Hoyt Earnest (1917)
He lived all his life in Comanche and was a farmer by trade. He was a member of the Board Church Baptist Church. He died on September 1, 1968 in Comanche. He is buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Comanche, Texas.
