Mrs. Frances C. (Dankens) Zimmerman, of Kittery, formerly of Waltham, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Durgin Pines Nursing Home in Kittery. She was 83.
Frances was born in Somerville on July 3, 1926, a daughter of the late Peter and Katrina (Mikeliunas ) Dankens, and had been a lifelong resident of Waltham. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, and traveling.
She leaves her son, Steven G. Zimmerman and his wife Kathy; her grandsons, Peter M. Zimmerman and Andrew S. Zimmerman; her great-grandchildren, Bradyn and Colin Zimmerman; two sisters, Anna Dankens and Paula Lyons and several nieces and nephews.
Frances was the wife of the late George W. Zimmerman and sister of the late John, Albert, and Charles Dankens.
