"Mrs. Henry A. Slaven died today (Thursday) at ll a. m. at her home near Meadow Dale. She leaves a young husband and nine children, for whom expressions of sympathy can be heard from many hearts. Mrs. Slaven had been sick for sometime, but her condition was not considered serious at all, and her death brings a deep and unexpected trouble to the home and friends. The deceased was a daughter of Otho Gum and was near 35 years of age.
