DEVON E. RISSER

Elkhart - Devon E. Risser, 77 of 62594 Ind. 19, died at 6:45 p. m. Thursday Sept. 28, 1995 in Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born June 11, 1918 in Harrison Twp. Elkhart, Co. He married Florence M. Shaum on Aug. 5, 1939, in Olive Twp. Elkhart Co. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Eric (Connie) Hartstein of Elkhart, and Karen Diaz of Oklahoma City, OK; two sons, Ellsworth Risser, and Wayne Risser, both of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-8 p. m. Saturday and Sunday at Reith-Roher-Ehret-Leinhart Funeral Home in Wakarusa. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a. m. Monday at Olive Mennonite Church. The Rev. Naaman Martin of Shiloh Mennonite Church, the Rev. Paul L. Newcomer of Toto Mennonite Church and the Rev. Lester Otto of Michigan will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.

Mr. Risser was employed at Williams Products for 15 years and was a machine operator, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Shiloh Mennonite Church in Goshen.
