RENFROE, RUTH P. - 92, of Homer, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Whispering Meadows. She was born September 15, 1917 in Ozark, Arkansas to Luther and Effie (McSwain) Phillips.
On June 25, 1938 she married Henry D. Renfroe who preceded her in death in 1991. Ruth was a homemaker. She also was a bookkeeper and co owner of Hank's Welding in Homer. She enjoyed gardening and especially her family.
Her survivors include sons, Jerry (June) Renfroe of Homer, Lyndol (Joyce) Renfroe of Long Grove, OK; sister, Melba Turner of Mesa, AR; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one grandchild; two brothers; and two sisters. Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday June 1, 2010, at Fairview Cemetery in Homer. Visitation will be Monday, May 31, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan.
